Dollar$ for DC
Stockbridge Community Schools and Farmers State Bank have teamed up to help students save for their annual 8th grade trip to Washington DC. We have developed a special savings account designed especially for students at Stockbridge Middle School. This account has no monthly fees or services charges, no minimum balance requirements and a simplified savings schedule that will help students understand the value of saving each week for a specific goal.
In addition to this special account, staff members from Farmers State Bank are in the school lunchroom every Monday to accept student deposits and answer any questions students may have about banking and their financial needs. This account is owned by the student and their parent or guardian and can be accessed through any of our branches, Touchtone telephone banker, or online banking services.
